I'm withdrawing my support for Brexit. Did not sufficiently account for: the incompetence of UK politics; the madness of Brexiteers; the deep aversion to EEA; NI; Customs; and of course Trump. Not switching to Remain but if we do now remain I'll shrug. /1

It begs the question, what was the Brexit you voted for? Is it the Brexit that all these Brexiteer MPs such as Rees-Mogg say it is (exiting the single market/customs union, no deal is better than a bad deal, etc. etc.)? From what they're saying, that's what the 52% voted for...

I think it was described here: https://www.adamsmith.org/the-liberal-case-for-leave/ … He assumed that since the government was mostly 'Remain', there would be some sensible middleground or 'evolution' that could be achieved. Turns out that the British government doesn't work that well at all...
