    It's very insightful to read translations of foreign Wikipedia entries back into English to see what different countries/cultures emphasize in historical events. Boring straightforward stuff is consistent, complex stuff often has radically different entries.

    Grayscale on the smartphone is very much worth switching to. Much better, in lots of small and unanticipated ways beyond the obvious big one of making one's smartphone less enticing.

    I find that fast growth occurs at both ends of the productivity distribution: low productivity firms grow fast, but also the very very very high productivity firms also grow fast 4/8
