What are the ranges of comparison? "Old Bike Lane" might include some of our gloomiest winter days in its average.
. And to what future capacity was this narrow one-lane each-way bike track designed? Will triple use become 10-fold or more?
. That's cool 2nd ave bike traffic is triple, but has bike usage increased? Or was this traffic from other aves?
As a side benefit, it seems like the left-turn arrow (no peds/bikes can go), is helping the flow of traffic on 2nd.
