    Say 'hello' to the jet stream again next week. With this thing over the top of the UK and Ireland we are going to be in for some stormy, changeable weather. It's likely to be wetter and temperatures will be up and down too. Perhaps some snow in Scotland?

    A polar maritime NW'ly like this on ECM 12z is definitely one that would be favourable for a widespread risk of wintry showers for Ireland with some snow showers making their way eastwards. Cheap Atlantic muck yes but it's something in this forsaken winter 😆

    Isn't there chlorine in pool water. Or does that pump stop you needing them. From Ireland, we don't have outdoor pools. They would fill with run off dirty rain water, leaves and whiskey in a heartbeat. Just curious, no malice or outrage. 🤔

    So through 9/10/11th we see our Polar Maritme blast. Blizzard conditions and significant snow for hills in the Highlands, blizzards/snow on high ground in Lake district and Wales, Ireland too, strong winds across the board, watching threat of one of those nasty 'runners' on 12th

    Having parents who didn't have many frills (growing up in rural Ireland) meant you didn't dare complain. Bi-way is making a comeback I hear. My kids will know the feeling... Have a great weekend! Time for some shovelling and snow forts. Take it easy

    When I lived in Copenhagen in 2000-2005 there was always snow in January, here in Ireland flowers are still in bloom in January 2020

    Mainly cloudy and dry today, with a little light rain at times. Heavier rain in northern parts of Ulster for most of the day. Brighter to the South. temps of 7 to 10 degrees
