“10 yrs of tax returns for ACLJ & other charities tied to Sekulow (records from 2008 to 2017) show more than $65 million in charitable funds were paid to Sekulow, his wife, his sons, his brother, his sister-in-law, his nephew, and corporations they own.”

Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow’s law firm operates from a mailbox? “This is an apparent web of organizations that seem to exist to pay compensation to Sekulow and his family,” says tax expert about his “non-profit” enterprise. Wow. AP investigation by

Charities steered $65M to Trump lawyer Sekulow and family

  5. Aunt Crabby Prediction: Pat Cipollone, Jay Sekulow, Rudy Giuliani, and AG Bill Barr will all be disbarred when all is said and done.

  6. We have a lot of questions about a lot of Trump's impeachment lawyers.

  7. Sekulow just pointed out that since Schiff said he proved his case already then he doesn’t need any more witnesses

  8. These process arguments are dumb. Sekulow is complaining Trump’s lawyers didn’t get to go into grand jury & cross ex witnesses, which of course, isn’t how this works. Defendants get to cross examine witnesses at trial, which only happens if they’re called.

If Trump's not personally paying for Sekulow's services, he must disclose those services as a gift in a financial disclosure form due May 15. He must list the SOURCE of that gift. The source is Sekulow ONLY IF he's working for free. If he's being paid, Trump must say who paid.

Sekulow giving the weirdest argument against witnesses ever. He's saying he didn't get to cross examine Sondland&other witnesses in House, and if they are called in the Senate, he'd cross-x them That's the whole point! If you had an innocent client, that's what you'd want to do.

  12. Closing arguments (on witnesses): Jay Sekulow making a great point here: he's going to demand the right to cross-examine all the witnesses who testified in the House (which Democrats did not allow). That's *in addition* to any new witnesses the Senate calls.

  14. Jay Sekulow & Jane Raskin did a masterful job defending my role as defense counsel, which was when Mueller was still investigating & Biden had not announced his candidacy. I was doing my job of defending an innocent client, our President .

Trump's attorney, Jay Sekulow, is a member of the Council for National Policy, along w/ the Cambridge Analytica cabal (KellyAnne, Bannon, the Mercers). The families of two of the CNP's early members provided initial funding for voting machine vendor ES&S.

Jay Sekulow argues that if any new witnesses are called (a la Bolton), Trump's defense team has a list of folks they'd like to talk to, too, including witnesses who testified before the House Intelligence Committee whom Team Trump didn't get to cross-examine.

Sekulow threatening Senate: House Dems presented lots of evidence from witnesses. Many video clips. Trump team had no opportunity to cross-examine *any* of them. So if Senate starts calling witnesses, they have to be re-called for cross examination. A fair trial demands it, no?

Hope you didn’t miss Jay Sekulow’s not so subtle hint of investigative payback in making the Dem Congress majority the focus of the impeachment. It started with Lindsey “bullshit” Graham’s comments over the weekend.

  19. Jay Sekulow has done a FLAWLESS job defending our President. Since day 1, he’s been dispelling every single lie spread by the radical left!

“What the House Democrats have done to this Nation, to the Constitution, to the Office of the President, to the President himself and to this Body, is outrageous.” -Jay Sekulow
