    Chris Williamson is serious about making amends. Today he apologises for past comments & asks the British Board of Jews to allow him to work with them to root out all forms of racism & hatred. It’s an open & sincere offer. Let’s hope they can work together

    Either we do want Jeremy Corbyn to interfere in disciplinary processes or we do not. It’s not an a la carte menu. MPs & Peers who condemned him saying he was interfering are now condemning him for not interfering. Intellectual inconsistency that reveals a motive with flawed logic

    I’ve known Chris Williamson 7 years. As a friend. He’s magnanimous, warm & comradely. I’ve never heard him personally speak ill in a nasty way about anyone. Even Ian Austin. Chris meant his apology recently & he’ll use his time in Labour now to show you he is the man I say he is.
