‘Perhaps if we learn to save a bee today we can save the world tomorrow?’ A great read on bees, their ecology, and efforts of scientists to improve their state, including reintroducing locally extinct ones.

Went for a spot of bug hunting last evening & found this very sun-dried anuran. Given its size, dorsal markings, broad skull, and bony facial ridges, I *think* this might be an Asian common toad (Duttaphrynus melanostictus).
