My style is “boxcar full of penguins.”

I had so many reward points at the dispensary, I just got a qt’er for a dollar. $1

When I was 16, my girlfriend and I went to Philly to see the Grateful Dead. Headed to our hotel after the show and we were, “tripping.” I was bugging out, on empty, driving through the mid 80’s hell’s scape of Philadelphia. I have rarely felt that kind of terror since. Rarely.

So my idea to train and carry my flea circus on my body has some flaws.

I worked at a golf course from the 20’s. Not many golf courses survived the depression. Irrigation was precarious at best. Pipes had been in the ground 75 years. They were Joined with lead and rope in the seams. I dug a lot of holes on that track. Oh man, I loved it. So old.

Now is the time on the show where I purge my drafts folder.

I always have to question, “is that a good idea or a death wish?”

On my golf course I had no shut off for my well pump. Only an overflow valve. I would sometimes be headed to shut off the pump super late, say 3am, pitch black, middle night. The local foxes would tease my dog. They knew he was a knuckle head who couldn’t catch them. Good times.

Is it too unscientific? Of course! I make my own magic now, I’m untethered.

Last year at this point I was caving hard. I was so afraid of dying I was having trouble leaving my home. COVID felt like God challenging me. Now I’m convinced I can’t die. I traded one delusion for another but this one is way more fun. I still wear a mask.
