NB and SB I5 exits to Mercer St are being closed. There is a protest at Fairview and Mercer blocking the intersection.

Update, the Mercer St exits remain closed due to the protest that is fully blocking the Fairview/Mercer intersection. WSP will keep that exit closed to prevent motorists from getting stuck on the exit ramp. So far WSP has made no arrests as no one has gone on the freeway.

#TrafficAlert. The express lanes are closing now due to protests nearing I-5. In addition, the ramp from NB 5 to James will be closed. Unknown ETA for reopening.
