So the entire comment section for the Nintendo Online Expansion video is quite literally flooded with fans quoting Satoru Iwata. didn't see that one coming. LMAO

  2. Nintendo shouldn't have ever gotten into mobile games, and Satoru Iwata was right to have wanted to avoid them. All they do is cheapen these IPs into free-to-play experiences no one wants. Nintendo should stick to what they do best.

When Earthbound was in development, things weren’t going well. Satoru Iwata was brought it to help fix things and said: “Working with what we have, it would take two years to fix things up. If you don’t mind starting from scratch, we will be done in half a year.”

Nintendo has gotten significantly worse since Satoru Iwata's passing. Especially with how much litigious it has become, especially towards fan projects and fandom work. I hate this so much.

During Red and Green's development, Satoru Iwata wrote the tools for graphics compression. Later, he converted the battle engine to Pokémon Stadium. The copyright on said tool says 1989, which means pokemon red and blue were in dev for a long long time

Starting from scratch was the option taken and a year later, Earthbound released. It was 5 years in development when Satoru Iwata was brought in.

Also I actually do admire Satoru Iwata quite a bit as Computer Engineering was his background (same as mine) and often was in the trenches working on stuff with the engineers even as the CEO. Put the employees first as much as a CEO could within a corporation. Pic related

Thesis: Wii (popular, innovative) Antithesis: Wii U (not popular, gimmicky tablet, but had a good library) Synthesis: Switch (popular, great library, innovative, good tablet that isn't forced) The Dialectics of Satoru Iwata

I remember when Satoru Iwata (RIP) did this so his employees wouldn't be affected by a drop in business. Fuck off Kotick, this performative garbage is so transparent I can see you masturbating with the under the table compensation you're getting on the other side of it.

Gold and Silver are sequels of such high quality they just jammed the first game in at the end as end game content because Satoru Iwata could just do that. Also gen 2 is equal parts gen 1 designs that couldn't fit in game 1 and a few new ones and I couldn't say which were which.

I know you just talked about the Nintendo Switch Online Controversy but look at the comments. "I don't think its reasonable to make someone pay for a game and then make them prepare a network connection and charge a monthly fee" - Satoru Iwata is being spammed
