    During this trial, a 20 year old Black man was killed by the police, a few miles from where the trial was being held. A 13 year old was shot. A Black/Latinx solider was pulled over and pepper sprayed. Police harassed kids on bikes. Those are just the incidents we heard about.

    What if American Theatres committed the 2022-2023 season for only New American Plays? Allow space for voices from Black, Latinx, AAPI, Native, LGBTQ+, Neuro Atyplical, and Disabled voices into their seasons...not all fighting over the same "edgy" slot? Just an idea...
