You're never too old to do a PhD, if you want to do one then go for it. A PhD is a learning experience, you will learn a lot about yourself (& others) along the way. You are more than your age & you will contribute in ways no other person can because you are unique, embrace that.

Using Slack in my online classes has been very successful. We have a channel for questions: every time a student posts a question and by the time I see it, other students have answered adequately. Talk about a real class community. #onlinelearning @AcademicChatter

Shout-out to anyone that moves to another country to follow their dreams. Adapting to lang/env/cultural differences whilst studying/researching is mind blowing. It can be difficult for those who have never done this to appreciate just how big that is, it's incredibly impressive.
