Nice write up! As one who has been stuck with a lack of context on so many occasions this is very important! Other minor add is to please not start your request with just a hi/hello $name then wait for response before providing the above context: http://nohello.com

The mock_function is some custom test tooling I wrote to be able to mock responses for global PHP functions (might blog about that later). It's basically function mock_function(string $name, ...$returns), where you just declare in order what the response will be. #php #testing
