You are missing the basic premise. They run an efficient model to provide a low cost to consumers. You want $AMZN $WMT $COST to increase payroll? They will simply pass those costs to the consumer or simply automate and cut jobs. No employee is required to work there.

I think people are snobs even about online. The brand appeal is low for many consumers so they pay more on the brand with better appeal and optics with a great experience @amazon I may fall into that category. Walmart just isn’t on my radar and I know they are cheaper $COST
