    I always love having my grandkids join me on the dais to watch the legislative process. Though being a state legislator is an incredible honor, being a grandparent is even better.

  7. At the expo center this morning for volunteer training for Utah Responds. Happy to hopefully help in some small way with the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines. Over a thousand people have volunteered in Salt Lake County. ❤️

    Not a single trans kid has played high school sports in Utah. These bills marginalize kids just trying to find their place in life. The UHSAA already has a good policy and if we start running into issues let’s let calmer heads than the legislature figure it out.

    TY (& all UT journalists) for being at all day every day even during pandemic. Love or hate any of these bills, the most important thing to me is transparency in the process & we have that because of you all. 👏🏻 Your work is too often taken for granted.

    Today I was able to meet the Governor and Lieutenant Governor. I briefly shared my families immigration story. I hope our executive branch takes these stories to heart while serving all Utahn’s this term.
