    Really saddened to hear about the potential closure of archaeology at Sheffield University. This department has had a huge impact on the 'unearthing' of Sheffield City's heritage. Solidarity with colleagues in the Department.

  9. Not only is my PhD student not getting examined but co-authors on a paper about to submit do not want my affiliation on it due to Global Boycott of Leicester - Please can this be resolved ASAP as it is affecting our everyday working lives!

  11. So due to the global boycott of University of Leicester my PhD student will not get examined now, as the external pulled out. I hope that the University goes to the table and this gets sorted out before any more repercussions for our students emerge.

  14. Some members don’t like factional arguments but this debate about transparency has to be had. You can’t claim independence when it’s a lie. Members deserve honesty. Whether you agree with my politics or not, I’m transparent about what they are.

  17. when it comes to engaging (an essential task in order to gain max momentum to tackle problems like ), i think 1 difficulty is that uses a lot of logical fallacies. this makes taking action appear irrational 1/15

  18. The Vice President election opens today. I am endorsing Marian is the only candidate I trust to deliver what she promises. We need a Vice President with a proven track record of doing what she says she will. Members need a voice on our side. Vote
