    To all Californians: is a trick. All the ads have these patients saying they'll die bc their clinic would close. Here's the truth: It requires the clinics TO REFUND MONEY THEY OVERCHARGE PATIENTS. The ads don't say THAT at all.

    Both sides of this kidney dialysis fight would like you to think anyone with a kidney is at risk if the other side wins! Will be able to recruit the electorate as "teammates" (corporate speak for what it calls its patients and employees)?

    Three companies have spent over $100 million dollars opposing . Their message to voters? If we have to spend some of our profits on patient care, we're so poor we'll close clinics. THEY JUST SPENT $100 MILLION ON POLITICAL ADS. Pls, Vote

    If we’re such a great idea, why don’t the ads describe what it would actually do to make renal dialysis centers more financially accountable, rather than trying to scare the crap out of voters (again) with lies about what would do. I’m voting

    A study by former CA Legislative Analyst and economic think tank Berkeley Research Group found that if passes, 83% of dialysis clinics in CA would operate at a loss. Dialysis clinics would be forced to cut services or close.

    As described in the Blood Money doc on , DaVita has paid over $1BN in fines to the USG related to illegal kickback schemes & fraudulent MediCare billing practices. No wonder they can afford to spend nearly $100M to lie to voters about

    The idea that would close dialysis centers down in retaliation for is so vile they should lose their medical licenses. Further, it’s a load of manure. Those centers are so obscenely, grossly profitable, they’ll never close them down.
