    Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert doesn’t seem to understand that background checks stop criminals from getting guns. Given her long arrest record - including for domestic abuse against her spouse - perhaps she’s worried she’ll be a prohibited purchaser one day.

    Universal background checks on guns are only meant to turn law-abiding citizens into criminals.

    Colorado : You told us guns make us safer. If 400,000,000 guns in the hands of civilians wasn’t enough to prevent our nation’s “historic highs in murder and gun violence,” how many more guns will it take?

    Democrats spent last year stoking the flames of race-based riots all over the US, which resulted in historic highs in murder and gun violence. Now they want to use their self induced crisis to justify infringing on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans.

    Colorado law doesn’t require locking devices to accompany the sale of a gun, nor does it require gun owners to lock their weapons. Firearms are the second leading cause of death among Colorado children/teens; 63% of these deaths are suicides.

    Nope. A trial court ruled that a Boulder ordinance prohibiting assault weapons and large-capacity magazines was preempted by state law. This was not a or constitutional case. Boulder could appeal and the case would be decided by the Colorado Supreme Court.

    🎉NRA VICTORY: In an NRA-supported case, a judge in Colorado just STRUCK DOWN a ban on commonly-owned rifles (AR-15s) and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

    When I was a aide I made a little over $7 an hour. I spent 2 hours of my wages on the RTD bus every day, too. There was nothing valiant about that and I didn’t learn a special lesson by having three jobs to barely scrape by while trying to get my career started.

    BREAKING! A district court struck down Boulder's semi-auto rifle & magazine ban. The court found that state law prevents Boulder from banning those commonly-owned rifles & magazines w/in city limits!

    We in CO and across the nation are LUCKY to have such a competent and active National Guard. They deploy to combat threats abroad alongside active duty service members, they manned COVID-19 testing sites, built hospital capacity, help mitigate our wildfires.. Thank you.

    I’ve activated the Colorado National Guard starting Friday at 12PM-Monday at 12PM to respond to search & rescue requests through the Emergency Operations Center due to the storm. I urge you to stay home if it’s going to snow hard in your area so you don’t need them to rescue you.
