    Colorado law doesn’t require locking devices to accompany the sale of a gun, nor does it require gun owners to lock their weapons. Firearms are the second leading cause of death among Colorado children/teens; 63% of these deaths are suicides.

  7. Nope. A trial court ruled that a Boulder ordinance prohibiting assault weapons and large-capacity magazines was preempted by state law. This was not a or constitutional case. Boulder could appeal and the case would be decided by the Colorado Supreme Court.

    Today, SB21-71 goes to hearing in front of the Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee. It will help end cash bail for youth! Many states have already prohibited cash bail

    The Colorado Legislature doesn’t have the Constitutional authority to question how people keep and bear arms within their homes for self defense.

    When I was a aide I made a little over $7 an hour. I spent 2 hours of my wages on the RTD bus every day, too. There was nothing valiant about that and I didn’t learn a special lesson by having three jobs to barely scrape by while trying to get my career started.
