    If the so-called adults won’t protect America’s children from being slaughtered by high-powered rifles, maybe it’s time for a nationwide ’sCrusade. There are plenty of teens with more energy, good sense, and courage than our current “leaders” seem able to muster.

    I presume you want all 16 year olds to be tried as adults, too? No? Why not, if they have all of the judgment and other mental faculties of adults?

    Teens between 14 and 18 have far better BS detectors, on average, than “adults” 18 and older. Wouldn’t it be great if the voting age were lowered to 16? Just a pipe dream, I know, but . . . ’sCrusade?

    Historical reminder: the 1963 turned the tide of the 's Birmingham Campaign. On in 2018, we should follow the lead of youth who are planning actions. Adults have failed in push for change.
