I explained the same thing to a Con troll on Twitter the other day too. The #carbontax in Saskatchewan exists as it does because Scott Moe didn't create a Saskatchewan specific one, so he could lose to Trudeau in the Supreme Court and look like a weak victim while blaming the PM.

This is the carbon pricing program that Ottawa imposed on Saskatchewan b/c SCOTT MOE REFUSED TO COME UP W/ A CARBON PRICING PLAN OF HIS OWN. Moe fucked around & found out. The Liberals aren't making you pay more & they are the ones lying. SCOTT MOE IS.

Trudeau's #CarbonTax isn't about the environment. It's about lining gov't coffers. His carbon tax makes everything more expensive. So, not only is Trudeau booking tax revenue directly from it - he's also increasing revenues indirectly. While doing zilch to reduce emissions.
