said “ I’ll see you in court” and they wanted us to believe she hung herself. This system is not for us. At every turn it works against us.

I first want to acknowledge the pain that many of us are sitting with right now after viewing the newly released video from ’s cell phone. It’s traumatizing.

We were told to believe that this woman who was told by a state trooper "I will light you up," who was recording her own arrest & was ready to go to court - died by suicide 3 days later? No. The story was always suspect. Reopen the case.

speaks from the grave. This is gut-wrenching & further proves implicit/explicit biases and flat out anti-blackness endured by African Americans all life long. These experiences cause loss of life and generational trauma. It’s unacceptable.

& I never believed hung herself, but this video that was released from her phone is PROOF!! She knew her rights and she was ready to have him court for the way he treated her.

Okay now I am angry because I see so many commentators telling us that we are demeaning Real Cases of racism by talking about race too much, but when it comes to they are absolutely silent.

So, was the officer afraid of 's cell phone? Why was he in fear of his life, because she recorded him on her phone? So, the new normal to justify unlawful stops, arrests, and brutality is to say you were fearful? Dirty, rotten scoundrels.

Watch this entire cell phone video + witness white supremacy in action. should have never been pulled from her car + Brian Encinia should be in jail. The Waller County PD lied and covered up evidence for FOUR YEARS. We must all DEMAND that the case be reopened.

The video PROVES evidence was withheld. It's not a suspicion. It's a fact. Police officers & departments nationwide must understand there is no reason for Black communities to trust them. None. Yet, folks still say "Just comply" as if they won't get killed anyway.

  14. We’re not surprised but still infuriated: THEY LIED. And withheld evidence to allow the officer to lie. We will continue to fight for justice for Sandra Bland and all victims of state violence.

Devastating. ’s family is seeing, through her eyes, the vitriol she faced. As said in a seldom played part of ‘I Have a Dream, “We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.”

Okay, many questions on the video, starting with: 1) How was this not released till now? 2) Why did not say she recorded the incident in public statements? 3) Why was this not given to attorneys in discovery? 4) Who knew this existed and failed to disclose?

This is the coward who stalked, harrassed, threatened and eventually murdered Sanda Bland

  18. May 7

I’m fucking pissed. They obviously withheld crucial evidence from the Sandra Bland’ family and legal team to cover their asses. This brings back how intense and frightening it was when I first watched the video from his dashcam. Make them all pay.

Remember: The officers sole defense was "He feared for his life". After viewing Bland's smartphone footage does he seem scared? That officer was as scared as Lion is of a Elk.
