    In Democrat Ben Ray Lujan is only up 4 points and heavily Democrat Santa Fe and Albequerque are both all but in. This is a very realistic surprise GOP pickup opportunity.

    Of the three Senate races the Crystal Ball had as Likely Dem (MN, NH, NM), I always thought NH was the most secure. Though maybe something to note on was that Heinrich was elected in 2012 to an open seat by about the same margin as what Lujan got.

    Looking at New Mexico results right now, and a couple things pop out. ended up being a 5-point race--closer than supposed "tossup" races in IA or SC. This was on party radars, but never broke through to public consciousness.
