    Thank you Senator Menendez for remembering, as a person who was there and survived this horrific day, many of us will NEVER forget

    On this day in 2011, 27 Copts were massacred during the demonstrations against anti-Coptic violence. Although Egyptian authorities have taken some welcome steps since then, far too many Copts continue to face violent attacks and discrimination for their faith.

    Time passes and some memories fade, but the killings of copts, peaceful protesters ran over by armored vehicles, the state media’s whitewashing, the funerals.. .. it is just not one of them.

    Maybe I won’t be reading anything I like this podcast and all it’s predecessors but my dyslexia (combined with my subconscious and anger probably) read this as The Conservative Newscast. I don’t understand or how the BBC has turned into Middle Easternesque State Tv.
