    The mom said they noticed the Total Containment Vehicle parked outside the home but didn’t think much of it. “It was just a normal day.” Three generations were inside when the LAPD vehicle failed. Now they are homeless.

    There was a lot of “wishing” being expressed by today. Like it was miracle on 34th street or something. As if they didn’t make the call to detonate explosive material that they didn’t seem to know anything about in middle of residential street.

    LAPD Bomb squad commander David J. Kowalski said “we wish it had been avoided.” The crowd is pushing LAPD to name the officer who made the decision and chanting “we want names.”
