    Today its the 5th anniversary of protests. About 500 protestors marched chanting slogans "Everywhere is Taksim, everywhere is resistance", "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism", "This is just the beginning, we will keep fighting." They also commemorated those killed.

    Today marks the 5th anniversary of Gezi Park occupation. Proof that the wounds are not healed yet, police have sealed off Taksim Gezi Park today and placed barriers in front of all entrances and exits of the park. Photos by and / Le Journal​

    7. Athough there will be some irregularities, the democratic forces in Turkey mobilized more than ever before. NGO`s like are working hard to keep the ballots save. These are all still aftermarths of the protests.
