3:36am and 3:37am, I met my daughters. Their birth weights were 5lbs 5oz and 2lbs 11oz. We need birthing units that are more responsive to mothers and their instincts. A woman shouldn’t have to fight to have her babies born in a hospital. #womenswork #raisingamerica #Minnesota

Looked, began nodding her head and then “Whoa!” I felt one of the babies drop. She felt a butt. Bells began ringing or something and within a matter of seconds 3-4 more nurses came in, prepping me for surgery. Things continued to proceed quickly and by #raisingamerica #womenswork

These babies would come just as quick, perhaps quicker - except that they were breach, so maybe not. In any case, I was thinking best stay at the hospital. #raisingamerica #womenswork #HappyValentinesDay2013

We need better birthing centers: 6 years ago tonight I was admitted to the hospital ER, I was laboring exactly as I had for my previous two pregnancies except this time I was advanced maternal age, with a complicated twin pregnancy, presenting breach and #raisingamerica #America
