I think you're a momentum type of player so yes you need more games to adapt i think Like in one of your set vs Light, you were down 2 games but you reversed 3-0d him. So you dont need to worry, don't pressure yourself in a Bo3 format even if it is a big major like CEO or EVO...

You know we don't need it right. Melee is like the only fighting game that gets consistant insane attendance across multiples majors. It's good for evo to give that spot to another game, melee has had its time with the bo3 super major

Honestly I don't think evo is even a good supermajor. Bo3 and the amount of non-entrants making everyone tired just leads to sloppy sets. It's more like an advert than a tournament and I'm glad other games are getting a chance, because melee doesn't really need it tbh

Funny as someone that have the reputation of being a "complainer" Guess who (among others) pushed for more Bo5? Back in the day people just wrote it of as complaining, these days "we don't need EVO" because it's Bo3.... which was our standard before people like me pushed for it

While I don't think that BO3 is the end of the world (adaptation, like you said - pros will deal), Smash does not need EVO.

I really like trickshotting on bo3 but they really need to fix bullet registration bc you don't understand how many times my shot didnt kill
