    You can get an ISO! I don't know about you, but I always like vanilla gnome more, it had some really cool vibe to it, but somehow that got overshadowed by CDE more recently...

    I got some ancient version of red hat from the compsci department in 99 or 2000. I think I used mandrake after that.

    I’ve been trying Linux off and on for 13 years now... every time I got blasted with video card issues, with many different brands and models... From Ubuntu 5.05 until this week. What a pity... 🙁

    I have managed to get a version of running through on so far, but it appears to suffer from a very poor framerate. Not used any Linux build much so a lot of trial and error. Further testing to be done!

    I think they open for a few thousand at a time every couple of weeks. Iirc you register interest through Samsung + app then I got a notification.

    Some years ago bought printer for linux support. Now trying with new Ubuntu - epic fail with tons of commands via terminal, various errors, etc... no result to the moment - booting to win :(

    Had to reinstall Ubuntu after 13 months on my father-in-law's laptop. He had 14.4 LTS Dell OEM and got it corrupt and I reinstalled it with 16.4 LTS… Hope I don't have to reinstall it till 2021…

    Finally got the GPU installed. Long story short, Linux Mint is a piece of turds. If you try to run a 1060, it will say "running in software rendering mode." This issue doesn't happen on Ubuntu. So just use Ubuntu and ditch Mint.

    OMG I actually managed to make my virtual machine work! Ubuntu running smooth as butter, woohoo! Can't wait to learn a bunch of things about Linux :)

    We got the kids ($15) computers for Christmas so they can learn stuff. The first thing they learned is that not all computers have VGA ports. When the right cords get here, we will all learn what Ubuntu looks like! 😬
