    My five-year old interrupted my virtual Gr 12 data class claiming his teacher asked him to find a beer and bring it back to his virtual class. He assured me he wouldn't drink it. He is learning about 3-D shapes. He needed a sphere.

    My Algebra 2 kids ALWAYS struggle with factoring. So I told them, this year we are going to be fluent!! So today during my J term credit recovery class, we practiced factoring + checking our answers on a graph. I'm proud of the thinking I saw!

    Benefit to remote teaching...when a student asks a question you can't answer, you are able to text a friend to join your group to help us make sense of the question. No driving/waiting for them to get to the school - just jump in. Fun Friday! Thx

    A remote learning update. My desk/office is a mess. My classroom is empty and waaaayyy too quiet. The online grading is piling up. I can’t seem to get planned for more than a day or two in advance.

    The first time in my 3 years when I think the majority of my students are starting to understand proof basics! These students are really giving it their all even though a majority of them have been fully remote since March. Can’t wait to see them tackle the next unit!
