Adding h2 as a dependency of hyper would require minimum Rust of 1.20. So that'd be a breaking change... (right?)

In which case, that'd mean HTTP2 support in hyper would need to be in 0.12.

Unless... H2 could be optional, similar to the http crate compat feature...

Isn't http2 slated for 1.0 of Hyper anyways? If you plan on adding it I think 0.12 would be fine. Having more versions isn't bad per se.

0.12 will move to http types, and tokio breaking changes. I've just been wondering if h2 support could come sooner.

If you're already breaking stuff with 0.12 might as well throw h2 in there to reduce future breakage.

Yep, exactly. Again, just wondering out loud if h2 can be provided sooner (tokio changes still WIP)

I know I'd like to see it, but of course there's no rush either :D
