The virtues of 20th century journalism have become outright pathologies in a 21st century media environment. Thus the zone is perpetually flooded with shit. Some thoughts:https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2020/5/16/21258788/obamagate-trump-flynn-bannon-flood-the-zone …

A virus is nothing but a short piece of genetic material that hijacks the host cell’s DNA replication system to create copies of itself, at the expense of the cell. Feels a lot like what Trump does to the media.

Get a new media? Or at least replace the particularly gullible, lazy ones? That should be easy to do, just find the biggest email scandal promoters. Oh wait... that’s ALL of them. 🤔

As @jayrosen_nyu has been warning & warning, we're in a #civicemergency & media are stuck in same-old mode: http://j.mp/covid19rosenpropaganda … I think it's an unbreakable pattern, sadly. @seanilling, what's the best thing you've written on steps to *break* the cycle?https://youtu.be/7yePLtHx61A
