By the time this is resolved almost everything will be run by wind or solar power. Even if courts side with the states, doesn’t mean American corporations will use oil when the demand for cheaper & clean energy is in high demand. Majority of Americans prefer cheaper energy.

Oil use will slowly start to decline but will still be needed for decades. So .. with not enough pipeline capacity, more and more oil gets transported via rail across small and large town US. Google Lac Megantic .. not good
