What is wrong with people???
A cosplayer who I know for a fact has been attending cons as various Spider-characters for years just felt the need to tell me that wearing masks destroys your immune system. Guess all those great Ghost-Spider cosplayers I've met are dead now.

That has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard (the cosplayer, not you). It's a miracle all the doctors & nurses that have been wearing masks for years haven't dropped dead!!

I mean, it's stupid even relayed through me. My transition doesn't make it not stupid. But thankfully, I understand science better than that.

Would that mean that all the surgeons, nurses, anaethesiologists, & techs that work in an operating room all day have ruined immune systems? Amazing that no one has noticed this correlation before or studied this bombshell discovery.
