    Study finds that kids who are disruptive and aggressive from an early age end up being more popular at school. Reminds me of the research suggesting that in adult life being disagreeable is generally beneficial.

    Always fun to remember that in order to deny race realism in favor of egalitarianism you must also deny that inbreeding can impact people's mental traits since historic and current rates of inbreeding differ across populations. One of many bizarre implications of "equality".

    Seeing Fuentes and Metokur clash is strange. In my mind they are characters from different time periods. And their sense of humor is oddly similar in some ways (though not all). Also, I thought Metokur literally died or something like that.

    I've been told that is, due to a lack of relevant knowledge, unsure about the role genes play in racial differences. If this is true, you should be equally unsure about systemic racism since controlling for variables like IQ makes racial inequality go away...

    Also, it's been known since the 1950s that racial differences in intelligence are actually largest on test questions that academics rate as "non-cultural".

    Nope. IQ predicts life outcomes equally well across (US) racial groups, the rank order of item difficulty is the same across groups, and all major IQ tests meet the criteria for measurement invariance. Consequently, most experts know they are not biased.

    Study finds whites saying woke stuff makes liberals like, and be more willing to hire, whites more than blacks, but they like/hire blacks more than whites saying stuff about personal responsibility no matter what the black is saying. Conservatives...

    Medical care has become more expensive and better quality with time. If you try and adjust for changes in quality to compare the cost of similar health improvements over time it turns out the cost of healthcare has actually declined.

    Explicitly saying you're a minority makes more people respond to requests for help. Scientific American says doing so reminds people to fight their own prejudice. Imagine giving this advice to any historical minority that was actually oppressed.

    The rumor was that former U.S. President Donald Trump hit a hole-in-one last month. It purportedly happened at his West Palm Beach, Florida, golf course.

    Looking at another model which inflates the impact of environment, blacks still score below whites on IQ tests after controlling for parental economic status and education, family structure, social support, home learning environment, etc., even at age 5.

    And even comparisons like this still overstate the role of the environment. The correlation between parental income and IQ is entirely non-causal.
