How come the #GirlScouts are so pissed at the #BoyScouts when they should be mad at the #Leftist #soccermom who complained about them being a #boysclub ? Much #hypocricy

It wasn't soccer moms, it was... The girls who have been in the BSA since 1971. You know, the ones you don't even know existed.

I went through all the layers of the scouts except for eagle. I didn't see a single female scout, in any troop. I did see girl scouts when we dropped my sister off at #GirlScouts If girls want to do what the #BoyScouts do then add activities to the GS,

I went through all the levels of Venturing, earned two expert class awards, and have worked on council camp staff for nearly a decade as both a youth and adults staffer. But please do try to tell me how I didn't exist in the BSA as a youth because you didn't pay attention.

Ok so which would be better? Having a boyscouts that isn't the boyscouts but unisexscouts, or have an equivalent set up for the girlscouts?

Has the same focus on outdoor programs and skills, has members who have wanted this change for some time (since the forties, actually - they were working with Campfire Girls and GSUSA to see about becoming partner programs). & has a set-up which allows members to effect change.

So campfire girl and GSUSA are scout programs set up for women. Why don't you just reform them into what the boyscouts are today? The point of boy/girl scouts was to build brother/sister hood, a sense of unity with activities. That's 1 opportunity lost with unifying them

Dude GSUSA is not an organization that wants to reform, people have tried that for a few decades now. And campfire USA is co-ed. Follow the entire thing.

Dude if the GSUSA doesn't want to reform then they're the ones robbing females of equal opportunitys, not the BSA

I'm not saying the BSA would be robbing girls of opportunity if they decided to keep the cubs and main program boy-only. They just decided that since GSUSA wasn't stepping up, to do so themselves. It's a free market, as you've already pointed out, and they're capitalizing on it.
