This is an interesting, albeit small usability aspect I hadn't considered before when judging phoneOS interactions. Neither really does best

You can simply swipe left or right on home indicator too, even faster. (At least in simulator)

Yep! No need to make an upside down U shape...it’s extremely fast and fluid!

Yeah, since iOS 11. Going forward in the switcher works on all iPhones within a couple seconds of last app switch
