Agreed. Few things have devolved (Phone Keypad Entry for example) but I figure it'll evolve again soon hopefully.

did you not get to looking at the “timer” portion of the new iPad clock app?

I agree, however, wouldn't you say that the UI as a whole is due for a bit of a refresh? It's pretty much looked this way since 2007.
