I hesitated before posting those screengrabs. Open to suggestions on the best way to mark fakes, hoaxes, etc before posting as part of a fact check.

My usual practice is to post as-is screengrabs as exhibits. Today’s hesitation was because lately I’ve flinched at other fact-check posts replicating/sharing fakes without markings and pulled back on RTing them. It made me think about finding a better way.

Of course they are. Reputable journalists have spread pretty much every viral Twitter hoax that's anti-Trump or anti-Republican and have done for the past year or so. Not all of them, and not always the same journalists, but I really don't expect any better from them now.
