Vaccination + no exposure = no infection Vaccination + little exposure = ? infection, low risk of hospitalization Vaccination + lots of exposure =higher relative risk of hospitalization With exposure often driven by working/living conditions, socioeconomic disparities continue.

And in case it needs to be said, I am both vaccinated and have a smartphone. but...this isn't about me. It isn't about you. It is about folks less engaged in technologies either by choice or by circumstance. And normally, it is the latter.

I will end up getting a booster for #COVID19 likely in the coming months. But for the first time in my life, I won't really believe in the utility of the vaccine that I'm about to get other than it is going to limit my ability to travel (and thus work).
