This is why it is so important to get the context/meaning right...One word/statement/interpretation can change the direction of a ship and if we do not catch it, we may just follow along...

FIRST: we must get THE GOSPEL-OF-CHRIST/GRACE UNTO JUSTIFICATION RIGHT!!! It's right there, where most are still in UNBELIEF, because they are believing in a different Jesus, a different gospel... as things have been ADDED or TAKEN AWAY while indoctrinating them into a religion

Correct - when Eve responded to satan...one of the first lies and additions to script was recorded...makes one wonder how many twists of the scriptures have been taught then and now...They can look very close...Yes the Holy Spirit will guide, but we need to be on top of the ball

This is why Jesus warns that the way is NARROW and FEW will make it. Don't trust your eternal security to ANYONE but the word of God, and Jesus Christ. Let God be true, and everyone, INCLUDING ME be a liar.

Amen!! The road is NARROW, cause it's thru JESUS, and the width between his shoulders is narrow. And, let every man be a liar and God the truth is used by Paul to set up the teaching of JUSTIFICATION in Romans Chapter 3

And chapter 2. We have to get away from proof texts. Verses, chapter and even testament division is done by men not by the hand of God. Approach scripture with that in mind. What Paul sets up in Romans 1 and 2 is brought to completion in chapter 3.

Ive recently learned that the bible was written w/o verse and chapter divisions... It makes a difference of meaning when read as a whole!

Yes, it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE when reading it without chapters and verses. To fellowship and study in groups, there is value to it.... but I agree with you guys, reading it without brings more cohesiveness of ORDER, which is how God establishes us

Yes We have The Holy Ghost in us to help us , because all INCREASE of our knowledge is by THE POWER OF GOD, not of ourselves And God said in His Great Book that the ENGLISH version of 1611 was "ALL AUTHORITY" , according to the scriptures, the Pure Cambridge , so I stick to it

The Holy Spirit is our teacher. Tit 2:11-14. Thought, our circumcision of the mind. In Jeremiah 6:10 it also talks about our ears being circumcised. Heart, we love like God. Seek to bring more in. Action, we act like Christ. Eph 5:1 - we intimate God.
