Dose#2 is now in the arm. Totally painless injection per a student nurse. Now to wait for the vaccine to do its thing. Have you gotten yours? And yes, I know this is a lot harder than it sounds. Took me 6 hrs to get my first dose. Bottom line: Keep trying.

We’ve had our ups and downs, but this morning’s delivery was exceptional. On time. “Logical” bagging, i.e., like things in the same bag. Bags placed so as not to block opening the door. The Walmart done good.

Insurance company offers me mail order prescription delivery. BUT, considering ’s slash and burn, scorched earth policies re: , I’m afraid to do it. Thanks ever SO much for that, Mr. DeJoy, for making prescription insecurity a “Thing.”

Rampant makes me crazy. It's apropos only when you're helpless & have no options. There is an option here. . You wear the mask. You do social distancing. You wash your hands. In short, if you go down, you go down swinging!

Made a decision as to where I would go to pick up an ever growing list of odds and ends I needed. My choices were , which requires masks, and , which doesn’t. Want to guess which store I dropped $41. 78 in?

Ginger Cat Appreciation Day (jpg courtesy of author Lois Dyer) I’m posting this here in honor of Carl The Writer Cat, my preowned, former Navy-Marine “Devil Dog,” of whom you’ve heard me speak. (He thinks EVERY day is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, but still.)

I was running errands when a 6’3” man ran up on me from behind and started asking questions. “Are you Asian? What kind? Were you born here? Are your parents immigrants? What’s your name?” He followed me down the block even though I was trying to walk away.
