I don’t know what to do with this platform anymore, but I feel like I need to say this: the pandemic is not over. Biden saying it is is an abandonment of millions of high risk people, millions with Long Covid, 3000 families who will lose someone this week, the next and the next.

A REMINDER! We need diverse representation not *only* so every kid can see themselves as the hero of the story, but also so that every kid can understand that *other* kinds of kids are *also* the heroes of the story.

Every child who hasn’t had COVID yet will probably get it this week… some will have long term health issues as a result. entirely preventable if anyone in power cared.

I tested kid when we got home. Immediate, strong +. Made it 1 week in school. I tested everyone else in our house, masked, opened windows, turned on air filters. No 1 else +. Me & kiddo isolated mostly outside, masked. Next day, I'm +. Others stayed negative (thankfully!). 4/

Am struggling to find any specific information on the omicron-specific booster shots on the city's H+H website. Got all my shots through H+H, would prefer to do it there to keep all my records in one place (lost my card during travel, have a European Covid pass tho).

I'd like to disabuse well people of the notion that chronically ill people are afraid of having COVID for a week or 4. What terrifies us is the likelihood that Long-COVID will permanently worsen our already nightmarish quality of life.
