I am just realizing that many dudes are blissfully unaware that getting laid is not on the hierarchy of needs, literally anywhere, any more than building model trains is. Sure, both are fun and good, but you are not OWED the opportunity to participate in it.

Sex is a hobby, like conversation or debate, or even martial arts, that requires a concentrated commitment to understanding the other people you want to enjoy it with. If you break their personal boundaries or disrespect them, you are the asshole, not them.

And the existence of these boundaries are not due to some conspiracy by sexual 'elites' to keep the less successful down. They exist because people have the right to choose who they do - or more importantly, who they do not - want to have sex with. That's a pretty simple concept.

If someone tried to force me to go on a roller coaster, I would be very upset. Sure, roller coasters are great, but this one doesn't look like something I'm in the mood for, and I don't know if I trust the guy operating it, etc. You don't have the right to force me to ride.

Jesus, I learned all this crap in like grade 9, is it really so hard to grasp? I guess I should know better than to ask that question in 2018.
