Channel 4 have announced "Black Takeover Day," where shows for one day, morning to night, will showcase Black talent on and off-screen.
Will include Gogglebox, Countdown, C4 News and new shows.
Big Breakfast is returning for a one-off special, hosted by Mo Gilligan #EdTVFest

Channel 4 News that day will be by an "all-Black presenting and reporting team." Hollyoaks will be written, performed and directed by Black talent. They are working with Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity to ensure long-term commitments.

In case your wondering, the Big Breakfast house still there. It is located metres from the Olympic Stadium, and is still occasionally used for filming. Wonder whether they'll still use the same house though.
