Have a little more compassion than this. This failure of government keeps families in limbo, not sure how to plan for the coming year.

Whispers--it's probably like this more than you want to know it's just out in the open now.

Our school is set to go back in person in Kansas. That’s what we are all planning for. But I feel like they will wait until the week before and change everything because 2020. It’s just so destabilizing for parents, you can’t really plan anything.

this is almost exactly what's happened here.

I’m so glad our youngest graduated from HS this year. Now we just need UNC to stay on the schedule they provided.

Even small changes-our county just “outlawed” neck gaiters...6 days before school starts-can be a big issue for some families. Some kids have tactile issues, and if this is THE mask they’ll tolerate...plus they’ve probably already spent the money, now more.

Communication has been awful to teachers too. My wife, a high school teacher just got her schedule at the end of this week with school starting not this week but the next. In a usual environment this is mildly annoying. When we have to make day care decisions, it’s a huge issue.

not surprised. it's clear our principal/teachers here are also in the dark & scrambling. a total comms failure up and down the chain. and for no good reason.
