I am so glad in the last couple of days we’ve been able to stand up these public health labs. Then we can just close them again once this is over...or does it not work that way?

This is good news. BUT South Korea is working to increase testing to 15,000 to 20,000 per day. They are installing drive thru test facilities, which minimize hospital pressures and keep potential patients out of the system until they need access.

That is the smart way to test. You don't want to burden health care professionals and facilities. If tomorrow 100 patients show up really sick in our ERs you have exposure and cleaning mess to do. TEST as much as possible and ideally off the facilities.
