    I have been diagnosed with 2 (!!!) rare diseases in the past 2 years. When I first visited the gp with my symptoms she said she didn’t know but due to her diligence and research I have now received diagnosis. I have so much respect and gratitude for her hard work and help.

    If👏you👏want👏patients👏to👏go👏to👏GPs👏then 👏resource👏and👏fund👏GPs There is no shortcut. There is no alternative solution. You can't keep defunding GP and expecting them to take on increasing work for free to cost shift.

    Whether I am successful as a Chairman/Member of or not, I believe the Committee could and should look at investigating & asking for such a scheme to be instigated...

    could the transport committee look at a scheme similar to “delay repay” for wheelchair users stuck on trains because there’s no ramp to use? My twitter feed is full of little else 😢

    I’ve been a doctor 20 years this year. One of my first ward patients, in August 2000, was a former RAF man who’d been at the liberation of Belsen. He still has nightmares. He told me how they’d arrived and seen bodies slumped against walls and fences.

    Thanks for sharing Chloe, my Grandfather was there......he rarely spoke of what happened, it was too painful. He did write this though and I share it today in his memory x

    Can’t believe Capita are blaming this on forms being filled in incorrectly. That’s utter rubbish. Forms submitted last February remain unprocessed. That’s not because of missing information - it’s because of a system that has failed over the past few years
