I've learned not to wait on a series to help ensure the later books actually get published, but is it so much to ask for a synopsis in the sequels? You've got plot and characters and magic systems and carefully obfuscated history and I don't have time to reread a 500 page book
Once again it owns that the best days on here are the days where the wheels are flying off and the site is skidding into a ravine

Two bright spots: the partial diverters at Masonic is forcing more u turns than Slow Street Traffic, and the cos are actually set up at Haight and Stanyan, with Page totally barricaded (guess they don't trust that diverter 🤔)

Ten minutes after the official start time, SFPD is still escorting drivers off the course. A competent city would have designed all of this as "no parking" for today and blocked it off hours ago

They've now had to delay the start of the race because they were still setting up barricades on Oak and Fell *ten minutes before race time*. Note that the runners will be starting the race going contraflow on these roads

Sure enough, SFPD are stationed *on Page* directing traffic *on to the Slow Street* instead of Haight. Great job . Next time, maybe have your permitting and event people talk to your liveable streets people??
