This one is one of my favorites. Really fun for playing with scale, textures, imagination. Retired now too so sorta hard to get. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPPPCVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TVMbDbB7JSXE8 …

A designer I hired straight out of college is now a lead designer for Lego in Denmark. So proud & so jealous at the same time.

I never even considered that a LEGO PM exists. Haven’t worked on games but I imagine it’s similar to SaaS, just less guided by user problem statements. + with LEGO, can’t iterate post-shipping so gotta get it right before releasing. QA must be super fun actually.

Lego has no shelf life. Great as an organized kit and even better as random pieces for the inventive mind. The Brickumentary (on Netflix) is an easy go to break for inspiration.

Got the chance to spend a day with a Lego designer while doing my masters, in Billund, DK. It was awesome, and their work is equally challenging as ours. I still relate examples of their problems and process to my team.
