It's not the temperatures or the snow that make winters hard in Scandinavia.

I find the snow reflects light & makes the nights less dark & the sun a bit sleepy if that makes sense? It's also the sounds are different

Yep. But November usually doesn't have any of that. It's usually just dark grey and hovering just around freezing.

Yeah, the pictured banner was in fact done for a tech event called Slush in 2016. Commonly assumed to have been a generic tourist banner! :)
